Riverina Highlands Project – 2025 Wrap-Up

As 2025 comes to a close, we’re proud to share some amazing achievements in the Riverina Highlands target area:

Demonstration sites established along Brungle, Goobaragandra, Morleys, Tumut Wetlands & Adelong waterways

Natural Capital Profiles completed across 12,690 ha

10 community workshops on Fishcare, low-cost waterway solutions, rare plant propagation, hollow as homes, cultural weaving & citizen science

Restoration works supporting endangered species like Macquarie Perch, Tumut Grevillea, Murray Cod, Platypus & Booroolong Frog

A huge thank you to the landholders, schools, Landcare groups & organisations who partnered with us this year. We look forward to continuing this important work together in 2026!

Through the Refreshing Rivers Program, we are looking for landholders with farm dams, gravel pits or wetlands, who are interested in establishing refuge "arks" for this rare species of fish.
