As part of the Refreshing Rivers project, 2 school holidays events were recently held in the Riverina Highlands. The kids received some tips and tricks on fresh water fishing, learnt about the native animals in our local waterways and as well the rules for recreational fishing. There were some great prizes for the kids casting skills. Many thanks to Landcare, Biodiversity Conservation Trust and DPI Fisheries for making it a great day.
