Womens Yarning Circle

Women's Yarning Circle will take place on the Billabong Creek near Jerilderie, through YACTAC’s Refreshing Rivers Program:

Date: Sunday 21st April

Time: 11am -2.30 pm

Location: banks of the Billabong Creek

Activities include:

•         Welcome to Country

•         Basket weaving

•         Indigenous storytelling

•         Book reading

•         Wetland planting demonstration

•         eDNA sampling and water quality testing

•         Catered lunch and drinks on the creek

Numbers limited to 20 adults + children

The Women's Yarning Circle is a gathering aimed at fostering storytelling, collaboration and fun. Participants will have the opportunity to engage in various activities while enjoying the gorgeous Billabong creek.
